Car Parking in London for Eurostar
I'm planning a weekend city break to Brussels in the spring on Eurostar. Im thinking of driving down to London to catch the train as the rail fare down to St Pancreas is quite pricey. Does anyone know where I could park my car in or around London safetly for 3 days. I dont mind parking on the outskirts and commuting into London. Im travelling down from the East Midlands.. If anyone can help I would be most gratefull

1) Park at Luton Airport somewhere (about 20 for 3 days). Take the shuttle to the airport, then the free shuttle to Luton Parkway station. Its about 20 return to St. Pancras. (We almost did that this year, as we were going to fly back from Barcelona, but plans have changed).
2) Drive to the new station at Ebbsfleet (nr Dartford) which has massive car parks. I've tried looking on line for prices there, but the Ebbsfleet website is still under construction, so you will have to phone Eurostar and ask them.

I'd park at a tube station, and continue my journey using an oyster card. Costs of prking on the various lines and spaces avaliable on the above link.

In fact if you were travelling in on the M40 get off at the Hillingdon junction and follow the signs to Ickenham two quid a day, three quid for your oyster card and then some money onto the card to use.

since the franchise change on services between east midlands and london, stagecoach have introduced "megatrain" fares between nottingham, derby, leicester and london. ok so the available train times might not meet your needs, but a single fare of 7 is not to be sneezed at since you can't buy petrol for a comparable journey as cheap as that.

I undoubtedly have the answer. Our company operates a public car park in Camden, less than a mile from the St Pancras terminal, and we have just started a new service specifically aimed at the Eurostar traveller. We are outside the Congestion Zone, charge a maximum of 13 for 24 hours and we'll even give you a free courtesy taxi service to and from the terminal. Have a look at our website for more details www.lomaxcarpark.co.uk.
Alternatively you could try Park at My House
http://www.parkatmyhouse.com/
They have lots of options mainly of private driveways near Kings Cross / Eurostar / St Pancras - then you could use the drop off zone at the station, and send the drvier off to park and have an easy walk back - no transfering to trains or underground, no tired children (or emotional parents)....
