can anyone tell me the cheapest way to get a camper to fuerteventura and back as i have been quoted 2,450 euros just to get from cadiz to las palmas. there must be a cheaper way. Is it possible to take a ferry to morrocco from gibrolter and drive down and then take a shorter ferry crossing over, or would it be better to ship the camper over and fly ouselves dow ,has anybody a solution to this v difficult question would be most greatful.

Up until recently, there's been no ferry service between the Canary Islands and the African mainland. When I posted my reply to your earlier question I thought that was still the case.

However, a bit of web-searching shows that a new service, from Tarfaya to Puerte del Rosario, started last year. Here's the operator:

You can get from the Iberian peninsular to Tangier via Tarifa, Algeciras or Gibraltar with FRS:

However, Morocco isn't the safest of countries to drive through:
