Will I need to prebook tickets to see the duomo in milan and other sights? Would like to avoid queues as much as possible. thanks.

You just queue for the Duomo but I strongly recommend you book for the Last Supper - I couldn't get in during the week I was there! Really disappointing. Enjoy!
I would book for the Uffizi as you will have to queue otherwise to get tickets and then to get in. Check out www.uffizi.firenze.it
Not a lot of point booking for the Uffizi (which is in Florence) if you're visiting Milan......
Frankly, I found the Duomo (Milan) a gloomy and disappointing sight, although its sheer size impresses.
It's good going on the roof though!! Fab views and exciting!
