Wheres the best place to stay in spain (or any other reccomendations) for surfing, shopping, clubbing, but also nice scenery?

Tariffa is a good idea for the surfing and scenery but not sure about the night life! It's te windiest place in Spain and generally looked on as a windsurfers and similar sports haven so may well have some night life to go with that image but I'm too darn old to know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
