I am going to Mexico next week and have looked up the weather over there and it is about 30 degrees, with sun and cloud. Does anyone know if I'll have trouble with mosquitos in April? (I usually suffer abroad!). I'm staying in Cancun.

If it's of any relevance i have just fed all the mozzies in mauritius, in about 26 - 30 degrees with sun cloud and a tropical storm. NOTHING put the little b's off and the itching was absolute murder especially on the long flight home.

Oh dear, I feared as much - thanks for your reply and sorry to hear you were bitten so bad. Glad I'm only going for a week now!
What relevance the prevalence of mosquitos in Maurituis has to Cancun beats me.
they meet me off the plane wherever i go pips, i was told i have rich blood < so maybe you are the same < it is a pain

I agree, they are a pain, sorry to hear you are a fellow sufferer. I've just been to Superdrug and armed myself with all the repellents, though these haven't worked so well in the past I must say!!
