When is the USA spring break?

Hi again, thanks to everyone who gave me advice on Orlando last week. We're thinking of Feb/March/April next year but have been told to avoid the USA spring break which is a busy time for the theme parks. Could anyone give me the dates for this holiday for 2009 please, I've had conflicting information so far, is it different in different States? Thanks

I googled Spring Break, and got various sites mostly from Universities stating term dates - all with different dates for Spring Break, so I came to the conclusion that it does vary around the US. Can anyone else confirm this?

There is no particular week for Spring break, the dates can be between February and April.

Here is a site which lists which colleges are off on in what dates in 2008 and it does seem week begining 17th March is the busiest week with over 2 miilion kids off. The following week (24th March) is not so busy.

But of course 2009 may be different depending when Easter is and so on.
