Ryanair baggage allowance

Did Ryanair recently (last 3 months) reduce their baggage allowance. I just had to pay 72 pounds excess baggage on a trip to Austria. Didn't make it the cheapest airline for me!!

Yes they did but you have to check the small print on their website.I think there are only 2 airlines worldwide with a smaller allowance than Ryanair.They have to make their money somewhere when they are virtually giving tickets away.
Yes, they reduced the checked baggage allowance to 15 kg and increased the handbaggage allowance to 10 kg. Have a look here: http://www.airlinequality.com/index.htm On the right hand side, click on "Airlines - opinions" and navigate to Ryanair (possibly the World's Most Hated Airline. I'm flying with them from Charleroi to Bergamo next week. Wish me luck.
