it's not far from the airport, under an hour as I recall, the whole road out to it is along the coast and you can see so much, there are alot of new massive hotels there, mainly on the shore and they all have their own beach. It is quite close to the outdoor amphetheatre at Aspendos, the most amazing night!!

Side is a bit commercialized now but still a very pretty little town - particularly down by the harbour. It has a great amphittheatre and a temple of Diana and some very nice restaurants. There are lots of good days trips such as Antalya & Aspendos. The waterfalls at nearby Manavagat are ok.

Side has got a lovely harbour the beaches can get quite crowded, if you want a better beach thats not so crowded just walk along the shore westerly and the beach is deeper and has finer sand . We stayed near Komkoi a week ago which is about 45 minute walk from side along the shore. It was devine weather goergous people very friendly . Enjoy

Hi, Side is a lovely holiday destination. I will be returning for my 3rd holiday there later this year. There is lots to see and do and the Turks are very helpful. Just remember to haggle on the prices of everything!!
