Carnival Glory - (Western Carribean)

Hello!
My Dad and I are going on our 1st cruise on the Carnival Glory later this year, our ports of call are Cozumel Mexico, Belize, Roatan Island, Honduras and Freeport, Bahamas. Is there any shore excursions that anybody could recommend? Something booked independantly and not through Carnival as the prices they charge are quite expensive. Also is there any hints or tips that anyone could offer us? Best staterooms for example?

Also my Dad is an American citizen whereas I am a British citizen, Would I need any other VISA's? or holiday jabs?

probably no need for visas; the cruise lines have to check you out and check you back in again, so the locals don't bother. Cozumel you could take a trip to Tulum Mayan ruin on the mainland (Coz is an island not far offshore). Belize the zoo is great, about 30 miles away but you can take an organised excursion or hire a taxi. Roatan not really much to do, I just strolled round town (which is tiny). Check what the ship offers but remember it's almost invariably cheaper to do it yourself. If you do something on your own from Cozumel make sure you're back on the islande in time, though. Freeport no idea, sorry.
