What to do in/near Twickenham
We have about 3 hours to kill in Twickenham, with 2 children aged 10 and 13. Does anyone know anywhere we could go to keep them and us entertained please? Options for wet and dry weather would be appreciated! Thanks

You're also just down the road from Brentford Fountain Leisure centre which has got a good leisure pool:

It depends when you are going there and what do you like. If it is weekend then Rugby stadium might be busy and then if you like rugby stuff. But they do have good things for rugby fans. Richmond is nice and historic, small high street but a good number of coffee shops, few with a nice view of river or Richmod green. You may like sitting under lovely shade of trees watching cricket match and drinking tea or coffee at Twickenham Green(Only weekends). Kingston upon thames is not far either. Lovely bentalls shopping centre and high street. or if you like diversity then Hounslow is only couple of miles away. These are four possible direction around Twickenham. have a nice time
Marble Hill park is a lovely park just up the road from Twickenham. Orleans House often has exhibitions and there is a great cafe in the old stables behind it. If you have more time catch the foot ferry over the river and walk up to Richmond Park http://www.richmondparklondon.co.uk
