Whitby B&B or Guesthouse

Can anyone recommend somewhere to stay. It'll probabloy be just one night mid-week in August. We'll have a four year old with us so somewhere that would accommodate children or have family rooms.

Hi ngastra... you could go onto Whitby's website plenty of info on there as regards B&B ect ,you will have too be quick at booking as it is their busy season and they soon get booked up.Good luck g.

A lot of B&Bs wont take 1 night bookings at that time, but you might be lucky.

There is a folk festival which fills the town 16th-22nd August, so things are likely to be booked up that week.

You will be very lucky to get a B&B for one night in August. Why not consider Whitby Youth Hostel. They will no doubt have family rooms and it has reopened last year, I think, after a full refurbishment.

Thanks everyone - think we'll have to give Whitby a miss this time as like you say one night not a good option for most places.
