Things to do or see in Dorking

Going on the bus 465 to Dorking, what is there to see or do near the shops ?? Nice restaurants, medium priced? Pubs or bistro type. Is it near the river ? Thanks all

located on the 465 bus route, just after Mickleham.

"The Running Horses" in Mickleham itself might interest you.
After that comes Boxhill with "The Stepping Stones" nearby; the stones which actually cross the River Mole are a short walk away towards Dorking. Then Denbies.
Dorking centre is not by the River Mole.
