Hi, can anybody recommend a decent hotel in Dublin? Nothing to fancy, just for a couple of nights. Something central would be good (I think.. I'll leave that up to you). Cheers

The Arlington, on Bachelor's Walk, next to O'Connel Bridge is good. Have stayed there several times. Very central & 2 min walk from Temple Bar - pubs etc. Try to get a deal on room rate - we have always managed to talk them down to around 60/80 per room/night/B&B. This is for both double & triple. Reasonable bar in hotel with Irish music/dance every night. I haven't been able to find as central a hotel at this price of a similar standard. Hope this helps
Expedia were offering the five-star Berkeley Court (one of the Jurys group, on Lansdowne Road, so a 20-min walk from Temple Bar etc) for 60 a night, if it's a bit of unadulterated luxury you're after.
