italian lakes

Hi all im going to a wedding in the italian lakes (como) our hotel is room only can you tell me what the prices are like for food,drinks and such.

it is a long time since I was there but found eating out and drinks very expensive but not as bad as Switzerland. hope you have a lovely time.

Lovely, it's absolutely beautiful around there. We went there for a day trip from Milan.

When I went we ate at the pavement cafes round the side of the lake where food was pretty reasonable considering and they do some gorgeous local pasta dishes.

I'd have though that the restaurants would be a lot pricier considering the area.

They do some amazing ice cream and sorbets, there is one little place by the lake side but in the town area with the tourist shops there's an amazing places with loads of flavours and definitely not to be missed.
