UK Passport Office

I have to go to the Liverpool passport office to 'prove' I am the person that I say I am. I sent my passport for renewal and it's been returned because 'I've changed so much in the last 10 years'. Anyone know if I can pick up my passport there and then or will I have to wait???

Judging by what it says on the website - click here - I wouldn't have thought so. Why don't you simply ask the Passport Office before you go - whatever anyone else's experience was might not apply to you.
