I would like to take my parents to Cornwall next week but as I have never been there Im unsure of what things there are to do and how long should we be there for. We would be travelling from london...would one night stay be sufficient time? Im sure that as long as I take them to one of Rick Stein's establishments they will be happy :)

it's quite a long drive, so personally I'd budget 2-3 nights. Number 1 attraction these days is the Eden Project, which is well worth it

You might want to book ahead for the meal.
Depends how old your parents are. I've spent two weeks in Devon and Cornwall and there's so much to do and see, it wasn't anywhere near long enough. Lovely part of the country.
I would imagine booking a table at one of Rick Stein's restaurants would not be easy. I doubt you can just turn up on the night and get a table.

Also I have to say it is rather rude asking if a one night stay be long enough to see Cornwall.

I dont live there, but once had a two week holiday there, and still did not see everything in Cornwall.
Have to agree with the above- a nights stay is nowhere near enough to see and appreciate Cornwall. It's one of the most beautiful places in the UK, and I can guarantee that whatever your parents enjoy doing- it'll be there.

Why don't you search Cornwall's attractions in Google and taking it from there?
I live in London but have in laws in Exeter Devon. Last year actually we moved to Devon but after one year moved back to London. I mean to say that in whole one year we could hadly see all the places. First of all from London it is about 4 hrs plus drive depending on where you want to go. Then as others said it all depends on how old your parents are and what they like or do not like.
Some friends of mine had a wedding anniversary meal at one of Rick Stein's restaurants - there was something like a 6 month waiting list.
