Can anyone suggest a good ski resort for beginners. There seems to be so many! I'm looking to go in April of next year and would prefer to fly direct from Belfast.

TIA

April is getting late in the season for most resorts so you need to find somewhere high up. If you are thinking of Europe then Morzine/Avoriaz area is good for begginers and Avoriaz is high and usually ok in April. It is only 1.5hrs from Geneva so transfer time is short.

The area there is huge with plenty of easy slopes and some very good ski schools. The bus service is also very good so you can get around to different areas where the snow is without any trouble.

Morzine is ok for night life too and a nice town during the day if you dont want to ski all time.

I have been with this company a few times and they are very good and are very helpful when you are in the resort.
