Its a heck of a long way to go (its on the pointy end bit of Baja California). I reckon you will either have go via Mexico City or LA.
Lots of development of luxury apartments going on there.
Its very dry and arid.

Stopped there on a cruise in Nov 2003. Apparently loads of US stars have homes there. All I can remember was it was so bl00dy hot, we kept going into hotel lobbys to 'use' the air conditioning!!..oh, and there were loads of people trying to sell you stuff, some quite forcably.

we currently live in the states so not so far to go. ive read reviews about people being very pushy, wondered if it was easy to stir clear of them and also if its a nice relaxing place generally in the town itself san lucas and is it cabo san jose? thinking of staying at the riu.
