I am trying to track my sons flight back from Japan -he assured me that it would be easy -in that I can see where he is at any given time.
I have now spent an hour trying to track it and quite simply cant.

Its BA0008 -can anyone please give me help and if possible a link.

Are you sure that's the right flight number?

What airport did it depart from and what one is it arriving at?

Try this one - although most of them seem to do only flights over America. Worth a try though. :-))

put "live flight arrivals" plus the airport he is landing at into google, from there you can find a link to the real time arrivals board for the airport he is landing at :-)
The flight is due in at 5.14pm, which is shown on the BA website. As it is just under 3 hours away it will be somewhere over the east Mediterranean right now I imagine.

He left Tokyo at 13.20 he lands at Heathrow 17.15 our time.

Funnily enough that flight doesnt come up for me either -i'll go and check again.

Thanks Chuck
Question Author
oops -sorry -got a phone call mid post there -thanks all -i'll try again.

He will have landed by the time I work this bleeder out lol
with around 2hr left to fly, using the great circle mapper would place the aircraft somewhere around northern scandinavia.
Question Author
Thanks Chuck -that'll be why I couldnt even track it but I wanted to see where he was but Roo had told me that he is possibly over Scandinavia -how cool is that.

Its just -as some may recall -he had such a horrific journey out there -fogbound at Heathrow -ended up in HK and then flew into a typhoon which meant loss of cabin pressure and a severe drop -everyone -cabin crew were belted in for the flight and then the lights went out and soothing music went on -how horrendous was that??

He is a really calm guy but he thought his number was up.

He has receive 10,000 Air Miles from BA because he lost a day of his holiday -he travelled for 26hrs and was mentally and physically shattered.

Im just naturally worried now -thats all -thanks everyone -fingers crossed xx
Yeee gads......didn't realise it was Hrow....probs T3.....will roll out red carpet across fields to welcome him.
Question Author

Question Author

Thanks teramulam x
