Scarb to Whitby cycleway
Has anyone on here cycled the Scarborough to Whitby cycleway. Its an old railway line 18miles long and apparently quite rough in parts. Dont know if my bike will stand up to the terraine. I have cycled long distances like this before but its the state of the cycleway Im worried about.

I think we will be doing it one fine weekend. We`ll now have to sort out taking 2 bikes on the train from Bridlington to Scarborough, then we`ll cycle to Whitby and stay overnight somewhere and then reverse the journey on Sunday providing there are trains back on Sun otherwise we`ll be cycling all the way back !!
Thanks again

Thanks for clearing that up for me YorkyLass. I hope I dont have to cycle all the way back but I was only thinking that on a Sunday in winter the trains are few a far between from Scarb to Brid and you have to make sure you catch the last one.
Maybe I`ll leave it till next summer anyway
Thanks for your concern mrs overall
