Im thinking of going to Cyprus next year May, could any tell me what activites you can do there, what it is like generally. Thanks

Loads of things to do in Cyprus. I just got back last week there a lots of water based activites in all resorts which are wonderfull. We went on a day cruise on a sailing boat stoping off to swim at different resorts. A highlight for our hoilday was a day trip to Egypt to vist Cairo it was a long day but what a day the pyramids where amazing and it will be a day i will remember for the rest of my life. In general there is allways something to do in Cyprus have a great time.

Hi the day trip to Egypt cost �200.00 each it was a flight to Egypt from pathos airport. They do a cruise to Egypt too but this takes 3 days. We got the 7.30 flight from pathos and where at the Pyramids by 9.30.Hope this helps

There are loads of activities to do in Cyprus. As well as the usual things like snorkelling, scuba diving, wind surfing etc there is lots to see. You can go walking in the Troodos Mountains,(ski-ing as well!)shopping in Nicosia(if that's your thing) and visit monasteries and other local places of interest. Any idea where you're going to be staying? You also asked about the place generally. It is fairly 'British-ised' if that's the right word. 3 pin plugs, drive on the left and the tap water is safe to drink.

They are supposed to drive on the left - in reality they drive in the shade !

Sorry, couldn't resist. As has been said loads to do. Great place. It will be starting to get hot in May - best time of the year to go IMHO.
