am looking for a 3 month let for no more than �600 pcm (inc bills). preferences are gloucester and somerset.

most landlords will want a minimum 6 month AST as you probably already know, so the best bet is to find the right one first and then approach the agent / landlord direct.

try http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-to-rent.ht ml and search 'gloucester' or 'somerset' upto �600 pcm.

either that, or speak to private landlords who are possibly more flexible but not 'managed' or vetted by an agent, so to speak.
