If you are going on a cruise I hope you have discovered the best site in the world relating to cruising - http://boards.cruisecritic.com/ there will be a section on your cruise line, there is a great section of Ports of Call so you can decide what to do in each port based on recommendations, and avoid taking the overpriced ship's excursions, and finally, if you sign up (free) you can view the Roll Call section where you can 'chat' with your fellow cruisers before you get on board. I believe Royal Carib is the only company that actually throws a private party for those on the Roll Calls.
