Have any of you been here for a holiday? Was it nice, much to do, did you have nice accommodation?
Any info on Kefalonia appreciated!

been several times over the years and stayed at the white rocks. Very nice location but over the years the island has been overdeveloped for tourism and is now spoiled. There are plenty things to do. Clubs, bars and lots of watersports. I thinks it's very geared up for families

the north of the island is prettier. Myrtos bay and Fiskardo.
Much of the island's buildings were destroyed by an earthquake in the early 50s so a great deal of the buildings had to be re-built. The island's capital is Argostoli and just nearby is the rapidly expanding area of Lassi. The island has become VERY popular since some of Captain Correlli's Mandolin was filmed there.
