Cost of Drinking/Eating in Malta
I am planning going to Malta on holiday this summer and with the Euro exchange rate being so poor I am worried how much things will cost. Can anyone tell me how much I can expect to pay for drinks in bars and for meals? Thanks

We went to Malta last October and stayed at the Intercontinental.
Compared with the rest of Europe we found Malta quite cheap. Lunch for 4 with a bottle of wine and large bottle of water came to 40 -50 Euros and dinner about 50-60 Euros.
Compare that to Italy last week where a toasted ham and cheese sandwich was 10 Euros and was inedible. Coke and orange juice were 10 Euros for the 2 and the cheapest bottle of wine was 30 Euros
