dominican republic prices?

Hi, I'm thinking of going to Costa Dorada in Dominican Republic in August, what are the average prices e.g of food & drink etc?
Also, is the sea relatively calm and swimable at that time of year?

We went there this time last year (May) on honeymoon and it cost �750 each for two weeks fully inclusive and had to pay anther �300 to upgrade to a decent room so be carefull what hotel you choose.

Nice food crap alcohol and I agree with dennisb try trip adviser that is a good site.

You could also get a brochure from a travel agent and google some of the hotels in it and there will be reviews on that hotel
