Working abroad
If I wanted to work abroad how do I go about it?
I'm thinking its probably not as simple as jumping on a plane over there and asking for a job.

If you go to the Jobcentre plus website, they list jobs abroad.

One of the biggest problems you would face is the Language issue. Visiting different Countries for a Holiday is one thing, but settling down to work for a prolonged period abroad is another. Although English is Universal, you would need a degree of Fluency in Spanish, Italian or French etc to be able to have a proper working relationship with your work Colleagues.
Hi! It depends on where you want to go??? However, within the EU it should be simple if you don't need a special qualification. Otherwise they put all sorts of hoops in the way to jump through. The French have just started a simplified scheme for self-employment though. Fluency in the language is a must though unless you just want casual work. Many French go to England though as it's much easier to start a business there!
