Hi.
Has anyone been there in either November or January. Can you tell me what the weather is like at that time of year and if the resort "shuts down" during the winter.

i was there last feb and it was pretty good, we had one day where it lashed it down but the rest was fine. it was v quiet though but i liked it and had a great time

Hi. We have been there about four times, always in January for my husband's birthday. It has always been good for us, usually in the seventies. The only reason you know that it is not summer are the dark evenings. Gets dark around 6pm if I remember correctly, but who cares when you've had sunshine all day! There are always places open for food and drink. All our holidays there have been last minute (not exactly!) Thompson deals.

It's great in the day but goes very cold at night, there are a lot of places still open and at night they have calor heaters on in the cafes and bars and because its very quite they all come out to tempt you to eat and drink with good offers, you can't go wrong.

We had a week's holiday there over the New year period.
Warm enough, but not scorching. Lots of tourist shops were closed when we visited. Market very good worth a visit. xxx Enjoy.
