campsite near / on the beach

can anyone recomend a good, cheap campsite thats very cose to a beautifull beach anywhere in the uk ? i fancy a nice quiet camping trip on the coast but would also be nice to be near a town / vilage with a few pubs/ bars and shops ?

Anywhere in Anglesey is pretty good and never far from a beach. We've camped near Lligwy beach which is nice. Don't know how far from you it is but it's worth a trip.

This is a nice place, fairly quiet and right on the beach. A bit of nightlife but not so you get disturbed at night. There are some nice pubs in the area although it is not within walking distance of any shops

On second thoughts, you may be better off staying at a different site, have just been looking at teviews for that one and their prices have gone up a lot since we last went
