There is a nice little cafe there on the cliff by the lighthouse. Its not bad for a snack. Drive up into the hills there and Portland Prison is at the top. Not too romantic I know but its unusual and the views are outstanding on a clear day. : )
On your way out of Weymouth is a turning to a nice beach over a hill but I'm sorry I can't remember its name.

Chesil Bank (also called Chesil Beach) is an amazing natural structure, an 18 mile long pebble beach, containing around 180 billion pebbles (give or take)
It is very near Weymouth

A search for "Weymouth tourist" and things like that will find sites telling you what you can do.

Whenever I arrive at a new place I always visit the local Tourist Information Centre.
They will have loads of brochures and maps, and they can also give advice about places to go and things to see.
