My partner is considering a job opportunity at Manchester Royal Infirmary.
Ideally we'd like to live near the countryside and commute into the city.
I was wondering if anyone can help us with this query?
What peak hour driving time can my girlfriend expect from towns / villages such as:
Altrincham;
Handforth;
Wilmslow;
Poynton;
Marple;
and Romiley...
to Manchester Royal Infirmary?
From all these places a drive time of no more than 25 minutes is suggested by the AA's and RAC's online journey planners, but we doubt these adequately allow for peak time congestion.

As you are in Oz you just have no idea of just how crowded our roads are. Manchester and it's surrounding areas are usually a nose to tail crawl in the rush hours.
If your partner can arrange their work hours so as to avoid the worst times (8 to 9.30am and 4 to 6pm) the journey times will be much closer to what the RAC & AA...
