Just a warning.
Although it was over 12 months ago, we returned from Luxor to the UK, at Luxor Airport they tried to overcharge for the Baggage that we knew was exactly right in the weight, so beware all they are all on the take.

I'm not sure you would really have won the argument - they obviously backed down because you were making a fuss. All scales that are used regularly in a business situation have to be calibrated - I work in a Post Office and we have to calibrate our scales once a week, and Trading Standards can come in and check at any time that our scales are correct. Presumably their scales were calibrated - but could you prove that yours were?
Spudqueen, I understand your Answer Re/ Calibration, this was one of my Questions to the Clerk, the person could in a fashion speed fairly good English, by this time the queue was building up, this might have been in my favour but I stood my ground, As regards your post 4getmenot I do not make a habit of coming on here with inconceivable post's!! with your reply I take it you would pay up? It takes all sorts of people to be ripped off, I am not one of them people, I would, if need be help other people that I thought that are getting ripped off.
