Tunisia - holiday during the World Cup

Thinking off going somewhere hot, cheap but most of all, some bars to watch the football for one week in July. Tunisia looks good but with the football in mind - are we talking about the same kind of resort like Turkey, Greece or spain or shall I leave it to another time.

It depends where you go. Some of the Tunisian resorts are very commercial, others, like the islands - Djerba or Kerkennah (which is lovely but remote) are much less so. You are talking north Africa so you'd need to check whether the hotels have Sky or whichever TV channels the football is being shown on - but football is popular there too.

I expect the resorts around Sousse and Monastir will be able to oblige, but like Boxtops says check in advance.
