I was there in October and booked to see phantom and cirque de soliel zumanity before we went. both were fantastic - you may get tickets cheaper there on the day but suited us as wanted to fit in with our schedule. Also you must do a helicopter trip into the grand canyon - one of the best things I have ever done (booked that through viator.com). Also recommend a restaurant called mon ami gabi (just below the eiffel tower!). Not sure what kind of things you are into but we went to a couple of upmarket nightclubs and they were just really pretentious - no fun but had a ball at mexican bar (cannot for the life of me remember the name but was not far from eiffel tower either). You will have a great time.

if you are going out for a drink just go into any casino,look for the waitresses and sit at a slot machine nearby pretending to play (or just put a dollar in )she will get your drinks and you tip her 1 dollar per drink,cheap round!the bars are about twice the price of here so follow this tip,cheap night out.the buffet restaurants are great value too.for show tickets there are places to buy them on the morning of the show which is a lot cheaper,one is under the huge coke cola bottle near mgm grand cant miss it.you will have a ball i want to go back right now.ooo also free shows to watch is bellagio fountains and treasure island pirate show (get at the back in the middle for best view cos show is on both sides,mgm grand lions inside have fun!!!

margaritaville was the place which was really good fun! debsly is right you will get served free drinks when playing the slots or whatever at the casinos. It is not a cheap holiday by any means but sure you would not be expecting it to be so just go and have a ball !

When you go to a causal diner ( like Dennys which is great) you get a choice of a soup or salad which your main dinner course free. The reason I say that is because I lived in the States for years and when the server said very quickly ' soup or salad? to tourists from the UK it sound like ' super salad?' and they would answer 'Yes sounds good' only for them to repeat it. When ordering breakfast you must say what your choice are. eg I would like steak and eggs, steak well done, eggs scrambled, toast white bread . . Try a uk casino ( grovernor are good) to pratice the tables., but set a limit every time, what you win goes in one pocket and what come out, out of another, when you run out, dont use your profit pocket. I worked in a Casino, you will win once so have fun
