has anybody been to marrakech in august im a bit wary of it being to hot Has anyone stayed at the riad mogador marrakech Thanks for any info you can give me

Mmmmm. I think the chances of it being hot in an African country in August are pretty high! Some reviews here

Yizzy, it will be HOT. We came back a fortnight ago - we loved it but it was 40 degrees one day, and that was the end of May. Marrakesh is very far inland, the hotels have nice swimming pools, but it's not the same as seaside - when we were there there was a breeze off the mountains, but the desert is not that far away !

ThANKS, I KINDA THOUGHT THAT, WOULD LOVE TO VISIT AND GETTING A REAL CHEAP DEAL ,THATS PROBABLY WHY
Average daytime maximum temperature (in August) = 38C
(Record high = 47C)

Average night-time minimum temperature = 20C

Rainfall: Effectively nil

HUMIDITY: EXTREME!!!!

Yizzy, the hotel we stayed at actually closes from mid-July until September - I guess that reflects the fact that most people find it too hot and so it's not worth opening, not enough guests.
