travelling on friday afternoon july 23rd,im ok on M4 whatcan i expect on M25 watford to hatfield and on A1(m) O.A.P travelling alone,worried about volume of traffic,and of getting lost

Can be quite packed, route itself is quite straightforward. However, there are roadworks at the Hatfield tunnel which can cause tailbacks at this time.

Friday can be quite busy and I think the schools break up about then, but just allow plenty of time and take it easy. There are several lanes, but I don't think you can get lost. We travel from Devon on the M3, M25 to Hatfield a lot and have never lost our way. Good luck, be brave!
