flying, norwich to edinburgh

When I google this I get holiday deals and stuff not the info I need.

If i'm flying from norwich to Edinburgh do I need a hundred percent indate passport?

Or will ID such as an explore card or a passport that will be ONE DAY! and then eight days out of date, on the outgoing and ingoiing flights respectively be ok, aslong as it looks like me?

As long as you don't put your Avatar Pic in your Passport molly you should get through immigration OK !!!

I have done this from London to Edinburgh. Passport is what you need. I think you can use other ID but you will have trouble getting through passport control.

you just need a form of photo id. a passport is usually best.

aaahh thanks mcfluff i'd just found it myself, so I can sue my passport. But the commanding officer said we didn't need a passport but I thought I'd check seeing as I haven't got many other forms of ID.

I'll tell her tomorrow incase anyone that's going hasn't got a passport at all but were told that that's ok.

Just a quick tip - if you are leaving Norwich you will need real money to take with you. Pigs, sheep & turnips are not legal currency in Edinburgh

At Norwich you are also charged 5 quid just to get through to security (airport tax/rip off).

Redman no, that's the boat i'm GOING on suggesting I haven't been on it yet . . .

Reiver, we've already paid for everything so I imagine they'll take a fiver out from everyone's money and an instructor will pay it in. Although what we paid might only cover for mini bus petrol or trains and buses, that's what most people use to get the far away places plus we'll have to use a bus to get from the airport to the docks. BUT it is partly subsidised, IDK.
