train travel
Hi It has been a long time since I have traveled on a train.I am taking my 80 year old mother to london for her birthday. So I am looking for the best cheapest and most and easyest route. I am going first class in case we have problems( I dont think she would like to stand all the way there) Does anyone know the best company to book with they all quote different fares on the web and I need advice as to which one to use. I am going from Bebinton to London euston. Many thanks

I can't advise about times and fares as you don't say when you are planning to travel. It looks as if you have to change once, in Chester - you're looking at a journey time of about 2.5 hours. If you decide on a train (no obligation at that stage) then you can click the Fares button at the bottom of the page which tells you all the options, cheap times for travel, etc.
Does your mother have a senior railcard? May be worth looking at, it costs something like £24 but saves up to a third off the fare (but not on all trains).
I hope this helps.

I use MyTrainTicket and found that it was excellent - easyt to understand.
I went and collected the ticket from the machine at the station very easy.
Make sure you get the best deal as you can use.
Price for that journey range from £186 --- £772 for 2 adults First Class
