Considering I won't be able to gamble so i won't need much spending money, roughly how much would a flight to and from las vegas, food and accommodation for about a week cost, for one person?

I don't know when it is thought, just mid to late june, don't have a clue what airline the rest of my family will be going with or what kind of a hotel they'll stay in.
So why ask the question then?

Ok, nevermind, im too tired to bother- good luck :-)
What do you mean....your dad won't have Americans in the house, What the **** is that supposed to mean?

I feel hurt now....*sniff*
From your north Suffolk location, Molly, the only direct flights which you could easily use would be with BA from Heathrow or with Virgin Atlantic from Gatwick. Both airline's flights for next June are currently priced at around £600 return. (The exact fare depends upon your travel dates and, of course, which airline you use).

You could easily spend over £1000 for a week's accommodation in Las Vegas but, for example, the Imperial Palace Hotel (right on the 'Strip') would only cost you around £200. (Book through Thomas Cook).

Allow another £100 to eat well. So your total price is around £900. However that's based solely upon what you asked about. (Flight, food and accommodation). It excludes travel to Heathrow or Gatwick, transfers from McCarran Airport to central Las Vegas, local travel during your stay, show tickets and admission to attractions.

100 quid to eat for a week?
Bednobs:
I'm not sure whether you regard that as too low or too high!

A backpacker might expect to pay much less. A jet-setting businessman could spend that (and more) on a single lunch but even simply eating in a hotel restaurant could put the figure much higher than £100.

Molly is 16 years old, so I worked on the basis of breakfast in McDonalds and sandwiches, or similar, at other times. Around £7 per day would seem to be a reasonable budget. However if she was to eat breakfast and her evening meal in the hotel, plus a decent lunch as well, I fully accept that perhaps £300 would be a more reasonable figure.
£7 per day? I meant to type "£15 per day"!!!!
I don't know how anyone can eat a large lunch in America, whenever I've been there I've pretty much lived on starters and been stuffed.
Classic...
