Corfu - whats it like?

Hi Ho guys,

Me and my bloke are thinking of goin to Corfu in June or July before the kids come out from school

Wat do ppl think of Corfu? 

Weve been going out with him a couple of years so want a few bars and lovely places to see and nice beaches... what do guys reckon and have you got anything else to inspire me with? we went to Menorca, Cala Galdana last year and it was gorgeous so anything like that would be lovely.

a mate and i stayed in corfu in a resort that began with a K in the north of the island, cant recall the name of it but there were no proper beaches, lots of hills and very little nightlife. also you have to use a bucket for used bog roll as the plumbing systems out there are substandard.

always a memorable holiday when you don't remember the place! Maybe that say's it all................No really there are some nice resorts but choose carefully, there are extremes, from dead to dead noisy depends on what you want. Pick some from the brouchure then ask to see the travel agents 'real' guide to the resports that they keep under the counter, this gives a true reflection of what you get! The old part of Corfu town is also worth a visit one night if you do go.

my mate told me that i have to wipe my ar$e and put it in the bin - and their plumbing systems are awful - that true or is he winding me up?
