Anyone been to Cyprus in December or any where else its hot?
How cozy is it?
Struggling to get Cyprus from Scottish Airports AI for 7nights over Christmas -really struggling -does Cyprus close down in December do you know?
Failing Cyprus -anyone got a personal recommendation for same deal ^^ so we can hone our search in?
Looking like we are gonna have to have a transfer so cant go too far :(
(Thats the Carribean out then sadly)
Any personal recommendations or advice most welcome -we are going in circles at the moment.

We found most places in Cyprus - restaurants, cafes, shops, tourist sites etc - open, just quieter than they would be in the summer. The weather was sunny and pleasant during the days, although it rained on several nights.
I think you do take a chance on the weather in mid-winter but we were OK. We've always thought the advanntages of everywhere being quieter and cheaper outweigh any worries about the weather. In fact, we always go away in mid-January and we've only had one holiday affected by bad weather and that was Tunisia last year.
I hope you find somewhere you like and have a good time.
