oap bus pass

hi i wonder if you can help me out and get the mother-in law off my back.

my mother in law has an oap travel pass on which she can use any bus in wales for free. she is going to scarborough and wants to know can she get any concessionary bus fares with her pass there. ps i hope she stays there

Normally the travel passes issued to OAPs are restricted to the area where issued, my mum lives in NW London, but can't use them to go nearby Herts town of Watford, although she can travel anywhere in London with them. I would assume that your MIL 's pass won't be able to be used in Scarborough although she might get a discounted OAP rate anyway

you could try making enquiries with scarborough borough council but be careful to be nice to them or they might send her back.
