thailand vi extention

hello all! ive not got long on the computer and if someone could answer this off the top of their heads it would help me sifting through annoying fake websites and such!
does anyone know how much an extention on thai visa is? im going from Laos into thailand and a land crossing is 15 day visa and alfight is 30 day visa. just wondering if i should maybe fly into thailand or just get an extention on the 15 day one. thank you in advance! x

lol really? oh its all fine, im in Ha Long Bay at the moment, its absoluetly beautiful! the place im staying over looks it and i can see it right now, even though its a little dark! ill be in hanoi tomorrow then ill go to Laso within the week i think. hopefully ill finally be able to update facebook as vietnam has it blocked!

hahaha! yeah i was at the midnight launch in Game. was good fun. right i must be off. got to find myself a hostel for the next couple of nights! found a dorm bed for 2.67 pounds in Hanoi so think ill take that! nice a cheap just the way it should be lol... will prob be annoyed though as im guessing this means they will have no hot water lol. oh well. ill check in again soon as i bought myself a netbook in Kuala Lumpa! bye x
The 15 day and 30 day periods you refer to aren't strictly visas; they're 'visa exemptions':

The solution to your problem would seem to be to get a (proper) tourist visa in advance, which (for people holding passports from the UK, or from any of 35 other countries) is valid for 60 days:

The normal fee for a tourist visa is £28 but if you apply before the end of March it's free:

thanks B ill take a look. i think that 60 day visa looks pretty good as i would like to do the islands for a while. i know where the thai embassey is in Laos and i should be there on monday so will get my butt there. then its the thai islands for new years! thank you for your help. its very much helped me!
