My friend has just came back from france and told me of the deep underground basements which spiral underneath the city of paris and houses hundreds of thousands of different cheeses of the highest quality due to the perfect conditions unseen anywhere else on earth and I just wondered Have any of you been to the "Le métro chambre de la mille mortelles fromages" in paris near the Champs-Élysées in paris and if so what was your experience like there?

As pastafreak said a kind user told me this may be better in travel so I reposted this as it is both cheese and travel based.
I love France, with a passion but do you know, I have never been to Paris? LOL I have, however, read many things about the underground passages that run underground there
use this http://www.tripadviso...is_Ile_de_France.html
In the search box top of the forum, type in what you are after using the word 'Catacomb' rather than passage or tunnel

Yes there's something deeply romantic and mystical about paris. One day i long to be on the canal during a clear sky and full moon whilst the boatman plays the violin and me and a friend have some fine wine crust bread and good quality cheese. heaven!
lol, if that tickles your fancy, I have read many a great review about the Batobus
Take your own cheese though ;-) and not sure about violinist being available

I'll keep all posted when I do go and upload some photos and videos of my experiences.
