Hello again, Woodelf

Forfar Loch is about 15 miles from the eastern Scottish coast. The small part of The Caledonian Forest which still survives is close to the western coast.

Hello again to you too Chris!...bum, that info totaly wrecks my writing group homework!...hecky thump....any idea what woodland or forest does surround Forfar Loch?...I know there were trees, lots of them, but I dunner know the name of the woodland; if it had one.
I think it is just called Forfar Loch Country Park, dont know if it ever had another name
I've taken a look on Google Earth. There's only a very thin band of woodland around most of the loch, with a slightly more substantial area of woodland in the south western corner. None of the maps I've looked at attribute any specific name to that woodland. If there's a local name, the park rangers will probably know it. You can email them at [email protected]
