Shopping in Paris:

Paris is a shopper's dream, offering the best in fashion, design, creativity and more. The essence of which is being the centre of setting new trends, evident through the volume of great places to shop, whether you’re a discount hunter, window shopper, designer diva or fashion victim.

If you’re looking for the crème de la crème of designer fashion and furnishings then Faubourg Saint-Honore is the best shopping district to offer classic designers like Versace and Yves Saint Laurent, as well as avant garde boutiques like Colette. 

The Paris Department Stores District –Boulevard Haussmann is perfect for getting lost in the prestigious top designer collections for men and women, gourmet food, jewellery and much more. The two department stores that dominate the boulevard and the ones to look out for are Galeries Lafayette and Printemps.

The pulse of Paris fashion, jewellery, antiques and fine art can be found in The Marais, recently emerging as one of Paris foremost fashion streets. The historic Marias quarter is a popular choice for shoppers looking for unique and finely crafted boutiques, such as Place des Vosges, Satellite and explore up and coming designers on Rue des Rosiers.

Shopaholics are spoilt for choice, from the designer shops to the department stores and back street boutiques, which can all be found in some of the most beautiful areas of Paris.

Entertainment in Paris:

The electrifying and diverse atmosphere in Paris can be like an aphrodisiac, as well offering a relaxed bar and cafe scene with mellow jazz bars. If you’re looking for something a little different then maybe a cabaret venue will take your fancy, one that springs to mind is the famous Moulin Rouge, however whichever one you choose is sure to deliver vibrant entertainment.

Trend-setting is a regular pastime for young club-goers along rue Oberkampf, and the Bastille area looking for fun. If money isn’t an issue, the Champs-Elysées features plenty of high-priced places and attracts lots of visitors.

France is famous for its classic cuisine and delicacies, you may not understand the French language but the food speaks for itself. You can expect croissants for breakfast (Petit Dejeuner), traditional dish of the day (Plat de Jour) which may be traditional croque-monsieur. While in Paris it would be a shame not to try some of the local traditional delicacies on offer after a long day of shopping at some of the top designer shops or quant boutiques, the perfect end to a perfect weekend.
