we had thunder and lightning this afternoon, rain and hailstones,no wonder i get confused,i thought it was summer,

I think that you get thunderstorms and hail more in summer!

When I was a child, in the summer we would get four very hot days, then a thunderstorm in the night, quite regularly.

wash out your mouth with salt and water!!!!! - but yes, SK it was a tad chilly and I almost lit a fire -not quite though and decided to pump up the energy levels with a bit of weed clearing.

Boxtops I remember my summers as a child just going on and on and then we'd have a bright leafy autumn and then it would be a white christmas, oh how it's changed :(
