28 degrees and stifling today! Not far fron Wimbledon which means the tennis players must be suffering!

just been up on the new cable car across the Thames by the Dome. Lovely day. Warm but not stifling, though of course I wasn't ruinnign around hitting balls..

I used to live in Wimbledon ,then Lower Morden .It was always stifling during the warm weather and packed to gunnels with people coming to see the tennis .
We used to dread Wimbledon fortnight !

It was 80 degrees in my office this afternoon - I couldn't believe that the kids coming home from school were still wearing their hoodies and fleeces.

Here in Dundee we've had thick fog all day though it's not cold. Road Bridge across the River Tay has 30 mph speed limit because of poor visibility..

Cooled a bit here now in Brighton & Hove. Quite a breeze started up. Nice.

It's been lovely all afternoon here in SW Essex, the day started off very overcast and muggy but it came over nice about 11am. Though still a tad muggy I have to say, not looking forward to bedtime!
