There have been a number of Newspaper Reports which would have us believe that Hurricane Gaston will hit the UK on Saturday with 70mph winds.
The stories are based upon questionable information from the USA. that has been challenged by the reputable Weather Centre at Chorley, which says, quite positively, in the last paragraph of a published article....."one aspect we can clear up is that a hurricane will NOT be coming to UK".
