pinki, it's not just Vermont, it's all the way down to Dallas. Phew
All quiet here and not too cold either... although that could just be my obscenely high heating masking the cold.

Stiff wind down here in Kent, the shipping forecast last night was really interesting. Thank goodness, though, that we are not in Queensland....
Don't know, pinki, keep your fingers crossed I'm in Bristol and the wind is beginning to rise here. There's something clattering about in the garden, blown by the wind, and I am not going out to see what it is.

I guess 'during' is just bad manners...
Very windy here last night on the south coast but knowhere near as bad as i hear in the North of England and Scotland. Hope if you're up there you're all ok.

It's died down a bit, but forecast for weekend is strong winds and rain in parts, so it will get stronger soon again.

6/2/11 - Force 8/9 whipping across the coast up here. Took the dog for a walk on the beach and quickly retreated! Its pretty wild up here
